Welcome to the Music pages of Our Lady & St John, Heswall.
Music plays an important part in worship within the parish. There is a
regular team of organists who play at 8.30am and 11.15am Mass on
Sundays. The choir also sings at the 11.15am Mass. Some work on the organ remains outstanding.
However, much of the rebuild, enlargement and maintenance of the 1984 scheme was carried out 2007-2011,
following which the church has welcomed visiting musicians such as
Ian Tracey and the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Choir and has a full
programme of events for coming months.
